Mauve, the first synthetic color, is making a comeback for Spring fashions along with plum and purple. If you’re more the type that’s into solids for dresses this spring, then this is the color family for you. In all shades and depths this is the big color where solids are concerned for Spring 2007. The classic shapes? The shirt dress and the wrap dress, also in are t-shirt dresses and slinky jersey and tunic dresses. For a very sexy look wear your mauve shirt dress with a few extra buttons undone, a pair of nude patent peep toe heels and a snake skin mauve bag. Complete this look with an apricot toned eye shadow and pinkish lipgloss for a sultry glow.

Black Polish

One of the top trends for nail polish the past two spring seasons has been black polish, although not my favorite trend, I feel compelled to tell you about a new development inside of it. Previously the trend had been spawned by Chanel and picked up by various celebrities, Chanel released Black Satin last year and this year the new Noir Ceramic. So popular with the celebrity set both shades sold out in record time and where being auctioned off at fifty dollars a bottle, leaving the general public in the lurch to take advantage of this craze.

Recently Revlon has introduced its new Limited Edition Collection and inside of it a black polish, aptly named, Talk Dirty. The new black is unlike the black polish you may remember from the mid 1990’s, dark, slightly red and gothic. This black polish comes with a more elegant sophisticated spin, more deep charcoal than black with silver specks that tease the eye. At $6.95 a bottle you can finally stock up on the “it” nail item at an affordable price.

My Favorite Face Mask

This morning I did a ten minute mask and as I looked at the difference it made for my skin I realized that I’ve been using this particular mask for at least five years, if not more. The mask is Bioelements Kerafole and it is hands down my favorite face mask. This mask is all natural, it deeply exfoliates, unclogs your pores and will leave your skin very smooth and glowing. For years I have never ceased to be amazed at the results this mask produces for my skin. If ever my skin is dull or not as smooth as I want it to be I just use this for ten minutes and it looks not only perfect, but better than I remembered it would. Use this mask twice a week and get glowing skin that you love and will always be proud to show off.
