nima-dress-2.jpgThe designer to keep your eye on right now is 24-year-old Iranian-born Nima Taherzadeh. Recently graduated from Parson’s, this winner of Parson’s Silver and Gold Thimble awards, debuted his collection at Saks in December of 2006, stating that his collection is “effortless, simple, functional, wearable and modern”.

His collection, by the name Nima, combines a super sexy feminine feel with a sleek up to the minute city vibe. I am loving these clothes! They bring to mind a certain sexiness that Audrey Hepburn had, but with a little more of a naughty edge. His black trench just begs for black patent heels and red nails with a smoky eye and I especially love the peek-a-boo strip of black mesh on his taupe shift.

This designer is hot, hot, hot and so is the dress for summer. So if they’re not already gone grab one of these gorgeous, sleek and very wearable dresses from Saks now and keep your eye out for his fall collection, I have a feeling it will take you by storm.
