Lather Skin Care, Gifts From The Sea

seakelpwsh.jpgI love everything to do with the sea, the smell, the feel of the salt water on your skin, how healthy the things from the sea are for you. Most of all I love all the memories the mere sight of the ocean brings to my mind. Running down the beach as a child, catching my first wave on my boogie board, relaxing in the sun and my first swim with a dolphin.

Of all the sea has to offer, my favorite is kelp, the herb of the sea. Kelp is packed full of vitamins and minerals, is detoxifying and when used on your skin helps regenerate, firms and seals in moisture. Oh, and I love the smell, so purifying.

So you can imagine that when I found Lather’s Sea Kelp Body Wash and Sweet Almond & Sea Kelp Body Lotion I was eager to snatch them up. Wow! Did I experience a treat!

The Body Wash smells so good, clean and pure, like the best spa experience at your favorite hotel. The lotion is fast becoming a staple in my beauty routine. It has a very pleasant soft scent that does not interfere with my perfume, it is rich without being too rich and it makes my skin very soft. The absolute best part about this lotion? It is great for sunburns. A few days ago I forgot to put sunscreen on my arms and received a very unpleasant burn on my shoulder. Thinking the seaweed would feel good on my skin I rubbed this lotion generously into the burn, by the next day the burn was gone!

Incredibly nourishing, gentle, and pampering I highly recommend this line. In addition, Lather does not test on animals or work with labs that do animal testing and they never use artificial fragrances, colors, or synthetic ingredients. Just pure luxury in a bottle.
