As I read the headlines announcing her passing I couldn’t help but get a little choked up. Who can forget her playful banter with Cary Grant in an Affair to Remember, her staunch stand for for the modern woman in The King and I, or, of course, that famous kiss on the beach in From Here To Eternity.

Deborah Kerr stared with every leading man Hollywood’s heyday had to offer, from Clark Gable to Yul Brynner. She was a model of the beautiful redhead and a symbol of classic beauty, which I hope is not too far gone. The woman who is all at once beautiful, strong and very classy.

Here’s to Deborah Kerr, Hollywood Legend, may she be fondly remembered. If you love Hollywood classic movies and are looking to see a wonderful performance by both Deborah Kerr and Cary Grant, you must see An Affair to Remember!
