Straight from the Big Apple, the street report on what’s hot for nails. In New York it is all about Blood Red and Black.

If you are like myself and my sister, who both have very pale skin, this look may end up giving you a bit of a vampire feel. If that’s not quite what you were after, but you’d like to partake in the current trends try playing around with other darker shades.

Dark purple looks gorgeous on cooler skin tones, check out Vinyl in Hard Candy’s Mini Nail Kit. For warmer tones try Suzi Says Da! from the OPI Russian Collection, a gorgeous chocolate brown.
