Welcome to Alexandra Candler’s Be Beautiful, a website committed to women experiencing themselves as beautiful at every moment.

Alexandra received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Anthropology from the University of California at Irvine. With a concentration in cultural anthropology and a minor in History Alexandra focused on the effects of European colonialism in Africa and the Middle East. Her love of other cultures and spirituality led her to developing a senior thesis in transformation and Sufism.

A seventh generation Usui Reiki Master, Alexandra has been following a life long passion for healing and natural medicine. Trained in essential oil therapy, crystal healing, Reiki and the healing practices of multiple cultures, a fifteen year practice in natural healing and a passion for different cultures around the world have led to research and development on women’s cultures, rituals, and the practices that have women find their personal power, fall in love with themselves and be able to create the world and relationships they most passionately and deeply desire.

With spirituality at the core of her personal life Alexandra is committed to having life and creativity flow from a created space of sanctuary and the feminine. She lives in Los Angeles writing, researching, teaching and healing. Currently she is working on a project in belly dancing and women’s rites of passage rituals.
