Nature Girl Organic Body Oil “Contour”

While enjoying my Independence Day at the beach yesterday I made the horrendous mistake of forgetting to lather myself in sunscreen. Even though it was cloudy I know to use sunscreen, but somehow I was having so much fun I was simply oblivious to the fact that I was slowly turning into a lobster. Needless to say by the end of the day my skin felt like a firework going off, hot and burning.
I would normally use aloe in the situation, however while aloe feels good when you first put it on the cool sensation fades quickly and it usually only speeds up the healing process by a day or two. I was curious if there was anything else that might work better. After looking at the ingredients in Nature Girl’s My Life As A Nature Girl Organic Body Oil Contour I decided that I had found exactly I was looking for. This stuff is full of everything that could possibly heal your skin and make your sunburn feel better: organic golden jojoba oil, organic sweet almond oil, organic calendula oil, organic African shea butter oil, and Vitamin’s A, C, and E.
Boy was this the stuff I wanted! It feels so good on my skin, it sooths the sunburn, keeps my skin supple, and I know these ingredients are wonderful for healing my skin on a deep level. The Contour oil also has Cypress Leaf and Juniper Berry to smooth and condition the skin. I’ve been using it since last night and my sunburn looks considerably less red and feels worlds better. If you get the accidental sunburn, you will want this oil in your collection!
The My Life As A Nature Girl Organic Body Oil also comes in Tone: with Moroccan Blue Chamomile and Italian Bergamot to condition, enhance and protect the skin, Sports: with Ravintsara, Peppermint and Eucalyptus Leaf to relax and calm muscles after exercise, Relax: with Geranium Leaf and Clary Sage to soothe and calm the body and mind, Renew: with Bulgarian Rose and French Lavender to rejuvenate and uplift the senses, and Surf: featuring Madagascan Geranium and Ylang Ylang to condition and replenish skin after a day in the surf and sun.

Three Masks You Can’t Live Without

If I’m ever having a week where my skin is not up to par and looking it’s gorgeous self the first thing I ask myself is - have I been using my face masks this week? Usually the answer is, no I haven’t, and that’s why my skin seems to be begging for a little TLC. I can tell you that when I do use these masks my skin always looks gorgeous, glowing and flawless. My secrets for amazing skin:
Bioelements Kerafole The hidden jewel of my skin secrets. This is a deeply exfoliating mask that is fortified with Arctic Algae, gingko and chamomile extracts, fruit acids and tea tree, lavender, lemon, orange and clove oils. It is suitable for all skin types and a little bit of this mask goes a long way. Use this mask twice a week after cleaning for amazing skin.
Bioelements Restorative Clay If you have combination or oily skin you will not want to live without this mask. It never ceases to clear up my skin and bring it back into balance and it’s great for those times of the month when your skin is going crazy. Contains balancing Chinese herbs and soothing chamomile in a natural clay base it helps clear your pores, rev-up circulation and smooth your skin. Use this mask one to three times a week after cleansing.
Liz Earle’s Brightening Treatment I, of course, cannot write a skincare article without mentioning Liz Earle. Between Liz Earle and Bioelements my skin is always gorgeous, without them my skin is a wreck. I use this mask, without fail, every time I am going out at night or have a special day and I want my skin to glow and look gorgeous. This mask is amazing because it only takes thirty seconds to two minutes and it always brightens my completion. It’s all natural and works like a charm every time I need it.
I’ve been using the Bioelements masks for going on five years now. I noticed a major difference in my skin within two weeks of using them and have never gone without them since. Liz Earle’s Brightening Treatment I discovered a few months ago and now use it weekly without fail. What I love about Bioelements and Liz Earle is that both companies produce amazing skin results and none of their products are tested on animals and they never use artificial colorants, synthetic fragrance or animal by-products.
If you have dry skin replace the Bioelements Restorative Clay with Bioelements Creme Therapy and use it one to three times a week.

Liz Earle: Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

When you get it right, you get it right…and Liz Earle got it right. She got it so right that she only had to create one face wash for all skin types. And let me tell you, you are going to love this face wash. It is so luxurious that I almost questioned if I needed moisturizer after I used it, and I always use moisturizer. It doesn’t matter if your skin is oily, dry or anything in between this cleanser will leave your skin feeling and looking nourished, glowing and well taken care of.
Liz Earle’s Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser is a two phase process, don’t let that scare you off - it’s easy and like I said, you’ll love it. Apply one pump of this luxurious creamy cleanser onto your skin while it’s dry and massage it circularly onto your face to stimulate your circulation (this circular massage is good in and of itself for wrinkles). You can even massage this over your eyes to get rid of stubborn mascara. Next you rinse the pure muslin cloth (comes with the cleanser starter kit) in hand hot water and wring it out until it’s damp not wet. You then use this to remove the cleanser from your face. The muslin cloth feels mildly exfoliating and so good on your skin, you feel like you’re giving yourself a facial every time you use this. Splash you face with cool water, tone and moisturize and off you go with gorgeous skin.
I know I talk a lot about Liz Earle on my site, the thing is I have not yet found one product that she makes that does not make my skin look and feel wonderful. Her products are all natural, she doesn’t test on animals, they smell amazing and I can always trust her products to do what they say they will. Even if you love what you use now, try Liz Earle and I promise you’ll be hooked!

Benefit Cosmetics EyeCon

About a month ago I started using Benefit Cosmetics Eyecon in the hopes that it would fade my massive dark circles, think the raccoon that ran off with your trash last night. I’ve always had to use a lot of undereye coverup and can never go without it, even when I’ve had more than enough sleep. I wanted to find a product that would at least let me roll out of bed in the morning and go for a walk without feeling self conscious about the circles under my eyes.
Eyecon claims to “really fades dark circles(…)eyes will appear instantly brighter while softening the appearance of fine lines”. The technology behind it comes from orange fruit extract which “helps to stimulate microcirculation of the skin and alleviates dark circles” while “apple fruit extracts softens the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles”.
After using this product for a month I have good news! My dark circles are a quater of what they were a month ago! I never would have thought this product would work this well. I now only have to use a quarter of the undereye coverup I used before, I actually am having to train myself to use it sparingly! Who would have imagined? What I did find with Eyecon is that it may fade dark circle, but I did not experience it working at all on the fine lines around my eyes. I now use Eyecon only on the area where I have dark circles and I use either Liz Earle Smoothing Line Serum or Origins Plantidote⢠Mega-Mushroom Eye Serum around my eyes for fine lines. Of those two I have found the Liz Earle product to yield the most results.
If you are looking for a product to help with your dark circles, this is it. And best of all - it’s reasonably priced ($28) and a little goes a long way.
